Who we are
Linqer (“we”, “the service”) is a credit-based link-sharing platform operated as part of the MicroBiz365 ecosystem. Contact: via MicroBiz365 contact.
What we collect
- Account: email, password (stored hashed), name, bio, interests, marketing consent.
- Public nickname (display name) for the link feed and leaderboard.
- Links you submit (URL, title, caption, tags, preview media).
- Sharing activity: reviews, shares, tracking-link clicks (IP hashed, user agent truncated).
- Session cookie (
rs_session) to keep you signed in.
What is public
- Your nickname, link previews, titles, and destination URLs on the public feed.
- Leaderboard rankings (nickname + aggregate counts) if you remain opted in — change this in your dashboard.
- Tracking links (
/r/…) redirect visitors to destination URLs.
We never publish your email address on the feed, leaderboard, or tracking pages.
Why we use your data
- Provide the service (contract).
- Marketing emails only if you opted in at registration (consent).
- Fair queue ordering and gamification via credits and leaderboard (legitimate interest).
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data. Update your nickname or leaderboard visibility anytime in the dashboard. To delete your account, contact us.
Retention
We keep account and activity data while your account is active. Click logs use hashed IPs, not raw addresses.
Security
Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Sessions use signed HTTP-only cookies. Server-side URL fetching blocks private network addresses. Rate limits apply to login and tracking endpoints.
